Magnetic mines, designated GC by the British. Some were fitted with pressure/acoustic triggers (late 1944 onwards). Weight: 2,116 lbs. (960 kg). Charge: 1,554 lbs. (705 kg). A special version LMB/S was introduced in 1943 for S-boats. A later version was designated GB by the British.
